Ushuaia 1/18/26 Sunday

We spent the day catching up on our sleep, enjoying a good meal, and walking around the port area in Ushuaia. The weather is beautiful here, about 55 degrees and mostly sunny today, with a couple sprinkles later in the evening. The lupines are in full bloom and covered in bumble bees. We had dinner at Casa de Los Mariscos, and had a yummy seafood sampler, some King Crab Parmesan, and bottle of Argentinian Sauvignon Blanc. After dinner, we watched our ship, the Plancius, sail into the harbor and dock next to all the giant ships. Our ship looks like a tug boat compared to some of the other ones. We are so excited to be on this old expedition ship! It’s unlike anything we’ve ever done before and we are looking forward to a very unique experience!
