Steve was born in central California and raised near Yosemite National Park, is an Air Force Academy grad and veteran (Go Falcons!), and an international airline captain who has seen the entire world from the inside of a hotel room. When he and Ava married in 2007, they decided to make it their mission to actually experience the world. Happy to be behind the scenes, Steve is the level headed quiet voice of reason, occasional videographer, proofreader, and pack mule behind Two Travel Over 50. When he’s not traveling for work or pleasure, Steve is busy reading, watching fútbol (AKA soccer), playing a video game, doing projects around the house, enjoying a gin and tonic, petting the rescue kitties, and jamming to 80’s New Wave.
